Members of the department recently volunteered with Moveable Feast Baltimore, a Baltimore-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide nutritious meals, groceries, and nutrition education to individuals and families living with serious illness. Moveable Feast is dedicated to improving health outcomes and reducing food insecurity by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals to those in need throughout the region.

On Wednesday, March 18, department volunteers participated in both the morning and afternoon shifts at Moveable Feast’s kitchen facility. During the visit, our team assisted with food preparation and meal packaging, helping to ensure that clients receive fresh, healthy meals each week.

The experience was both meaningful and enjoyable, and participants appreciated the opportunity to give back to the community while supporting an organization whose work has a direct impact on the health and well-being of others.
