Laudable Accomplishments for Recent Graduates!

Keep an eye out for our recent graduates at AALAS and ACVP this year. They have lots of recent successes to celebrate!

  • Tori Baxter, DVM, PhD, DACLAM, currently an Assistant Professor at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, received an NIH K01 grant to study the pathogenesis of and host response to Chikungunya virus infection of the central nervous system.
  • Tasha Crawford, VMD, PhD, DACVP started a new position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Logan France, DVM, DACLAM, currently an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University, was featured on the cover of the September edition of Laboratory Animal Science for her work in biomedical research advocacy.
  • Simon Long, VMD, PhD, DACVP started a new position as a Biodefense Research Pathologist at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease.
  • Dillon Muth, DVM graduated with his PhD from the Cellular and Molecular Medicine graduate program in July.
  • Nathan Pate, DVM, DACVP started a new position as a Staff Pathologist at the Center for Advanced Preclinical Research (CAPR) at the Fredrick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.
